There’s definitely something to be said about clients who return to me time and time again to capture their little one’s milestones. I love seeing these precious little faces grow and change, and I feel honored that they keep coming back to me to preserve these fleeting moments. This year, I have lots of surprise goodies in store for clients who continue to choose me to photograph their children and families. I know there are a TON of photographers out there, it could be so easy just to pick someone else that may be cheaper, better, closer or even just different, but many don’t and I appreciate that and it doesn’t go unnoticed.
Now onto the good stuff! Though Miss T just turned two, this was my 4th time with her. Not so much a ‘baby’ anymore, but a beautiful little girl! She was so sweet when I first arrived, she even introduced me to her mommy and daddy – such good manners!
Check out the shoes!
The hands placed nicely in her lap and the little crossed feet — all her own doing!
This one cracks me up… and as you can tell, she began to feel a bit more comfortable in the session!
She even helped me rearrange the props — many times.
I bought this pink backdrop specifically for her session — and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I like to keep things fairly simple in my shoots (you’re not going to see any fake scenery in my photos), so even changing to a colored background was a big step for me! I’m liking the change and will continue to switch things up this year as long as I can keep true to my own style, I promise no faux fences or fireplaces in my photos!
We were just wrapping up the shoot when she decided to show me some of her yoga poses that she has learned at daycare… I think that’s the downward dog pose!
As always, Miss T – it was wonderful see your sweet smile and the spunky little two year old you have become!
