no better friend than a sister | Lee, NH Family Photographer

This session had been planned long ago, and after months and months and one¬†reschedule, the time finally came and it was so much fun. I had not seen the older of the two sweet sisters since this session, and then of course, sweet baby sister was still snug in her mama’s belly. These two are chock full of personality and shows in almost all of their photos. We had a lot of fun bouncing around the apple orchard and being silly. I had to start off the photo series with this face… COME ON.

Such a sweet family!StuartBlog4(5)

When I was doing my first round of edits, I stopped in my tracks when I got to this one. I took a photo of my screen and sent it to mom immediately. Can you believe she is not even three? This deserves a BIG print! ūüôāStuartBlog4

And this one — as much personality as you can fit into a little girl. She kept me moving and laughing our entire shoot.StuartBlog5StuartBlog6(5)StuartBlog6

I’ve started collecting Tutu Du Monde dresses to offer to clients during shoots if they want to use them. They’re beautiful and dreamy, and I’m a bit obsessed with them.¬†StuartBlog7StuartBlog8StuartBlog9(5)

She was being a bit silly here, but I saw it as an opportunity for a dreamy, whimsical edit.StuartBlog9StuartBlog12

You’re doing a great job, mom and dad. Hope you enjoyed your extra long sneak peek!

four, fall, fun | Hudson, NH Family Photographer

I have been photographing this family for a long time. ¬†It is far too many times for me to link back to all of their past sessions, so let’s just peek back to when this little one had turned three. Clients that come back to me over and over again certainly have a special place in my heart. I love getting to know families over time and especially getting to see kids grow and change from year to year. This little miss celebrated her 4th birthday earlier this year but because they were in the middle of selling/buying/moving into a new home (yay!), we decided to wait¬†until things settled down and¬†capture her at 1/2 birthday. Hopefully this newest set of photos will find a special place on the walls of their new home.

During our session, we were reminiscing over a holiday session we had done when she was about 9 months old.¬†She was very serious and I don’t think ever cracked a smile —¬†oh how times have changed!

Sweet Miss T, I love seeing you grow and change! You are such a smart, beautiful four year old! I hope you enjoyed your sneak peeks!

meant to be | Londonderry, NH Engagement Photographer

Where do I begin with this one? Mom contacted me a few months ago asking me for a very special session. Her son, a Marine, that she hadn’t seen in two years would be coming to visit for a very short time before going overseas. And oh yeah, he was bringing his new wife!¬†She wanted to gift them a photo session because they did not have any professional wedding photos done. We literally couldn’t have asked for a better evening — it was absolute perfection. I was on pins and needles as the day got closer because any bad weather would’ve ruined my chance to photograph them before they had to leave again. It was meant to be — in so many ways.LTBlog1LTBlog2(5)LTBlog2

Even though I love my littles, it was certainly a nice change of pace to shoot adults that listened to me without singing or dancing to get their attention. And for real, could they be more photogenic? My WORD.LTBlog3LTBlog5LTBlog6

I am in no way a wedding photographer, but this little shot was fun – I rarely use my macro lens!

Oh and then there’s this — um, SO EXCITING!LTBlog8

Since Mom was the reason the shoot was happening, she HAD to get into a few photos. Please never miss an opportunity to be in photos with your kids — even if they are grown!¬†LTBlog9LTBlog10

I wish you both nothing but the best. Good luck overseas and of course with the new baby! And I can not forget, thank you so much for your service to  our country!

this is two | NH Children’s Photographer

Most people have heard of the expression “terrible twos” when it comes to toddlerhood. Well, I have to respectfully disagree with all of those who believe in it! I think the twos are awesome. At two, they really¬†start talking (and more often than not, they say hilarious things!), they become a bit more independent but still have their baby ways about them, and their personalities really begin to shine through, yet they are still easily persuaded into doing what you want! What’s not to love?

I have photographed this wee¬†one since day 1 (well day 6 to be exact), and she gets more and more beautiful each time I see her… she just turned two and is going to be a big sister!

Without further ado, this is two…

We were not planning on going near the lake for this session, but we wanted to change up the scenery (even though I do love me some dirt roads and tall grass!) The huge piece of drift wood and lush greens were the perfect backdrop, and boy did she have fun splashing her little piggy toes in the water and digging in the sand! It is sometimes best just to let them loose when photographing at this age.CFBlog3CFBlog4

So much joy.CFBlog5(5)

She is a beauty.CFBlog5CFBlog6CFBlog7

Wondering where she gets her good looks from? Here’s mommy with baby #3 on the way. Her mom is as beautiful on the inside as on the outside. It has been such a privilege to photograph all of her pregnancies and babies!¬†CFBlog9

Peekaboo and quiet moments with mommy… savoring the last few weeks of being the¬†baby in the family.CFBlog10(5)CFBlog10

As always, you two steal my heart every time. I can’t wait to meet baby #3! xoxo

OMG!!! Rebecca you have captured Carleigh perfectly!!! So in love

Michael Poulin - September 15, 2015 - 10:01 pm

These are absolutely just wonderful. Your photography is just spectacular — and I will admit that I am biased, considering the subjects. Love these two and am so happy to see these photos. ūüôā

summer magic | Goffstown, NH Family Photographer

Here it is — the final piece to this session! I really need to cut back on the number of photos I post in a peek, since it’s really much more than just a peek that I’m giving! Believe it or not, I had marked several more for this post and just couldn’t fit them in (not to mention I’ve been spending way too much time behind the computer at night!). I think I’ll be limiting the amount of photos in sneak peeks to a specific number, and if there are more that I want to share I’ll just have to deal! But of course that will all be going forward — these guys luck out with another LONG post. There is so much gorgeousness packed in here – I can’t even take it. The family, the location, the light – it was all perfect. I’ve been in the photography world for several years now, and I feel like I can finally say, “I got this.” Enjoy!

I’m a little obsessed with this one.CFBlog6

Here’s a pullback of what is commonly going on in the background when just mom and dad are in front of the camera — haha.

Can you believe that this is someone’s yard?!?CFBlog7

You guys rocked it as usual, I would expect nothing less. xoxoCFBlog8
