won’t you be my neighbor | Auburn, NH Children’s Photographer

We moved about 4 months ago… we plopped our house behind another and basically stole their wooded backyard view. Jerks, right? It was the last lot left in our neighborhood and we SO wanted it, it was perfect for our little family. The whole time I’m thinking, “the neighbors are going to hate us!” As it turns out, the neighbors have three kiddos just about the same ages as ours, and to put it mildly — they’re awesome (and they don’t hate us!) Our kids became fast friends always letting us play on their swing set, and our husbands play basketball and drink beers together (and are currently devising a plan to put in a pool and turn our houses into some sort of BBQing, beer drinking, basketball playing, swimming compound, ummm… ) Anyway, I digress, here’s their littlest guy, and he just turned ONE! Normally, I don’t shoot in December because it’s just too busy with the holidays, but since they could just pop over while my kids were still around, it was pretty easy… (sort of like this drive-by mini here.) Does he not have the most beautiful blue eyes??

This was one of my favs… so sweet.LMBlog3

You may not have been able to tell, but this is sort of how the session went… he just learned to walk and was all like, “SEE YA!!”… and his mama had to return him to the set  a million times. Hey, I’d be like that too if I just figured out how my legs work and was having portraits done in another kid’s playroom.

You can see evidence of my kids’ playroom in the photos below… BUT we got some cute smirks so we just went with it 🙂LMBlog6LMBlog7

And these two below just make me smile… “GET ME OUT OF HERE”  and  “Nah, it’s all good”.LMBlog8

Happy Birthday sweet little boy! I can’t wait to see you grow over the years! LMBlog9
