welcoming baby K | Manchester, NH Birth Photographer

Get comfortable … this is the birth story of one sweet little girl… and you’ll want to stay until the end for something special.

If you follow my work, you know that I photographed the birth of another friend’s baby a little over a year ago. There is certainly something special about being there to watch a new little life enter the world, and watching this mama do it as gracefully as she did was, well, simply amazing.

She spent much of her labor chatting with her hubby (and me) and walking around labor and delivery, and she even did her nails at one point (seriously!) It was so calm and peaceful.

At one point in the labor, the chatting stopped and mama became very quiet for a few hours. It was then that we could all sense something was happening. She cried tears of joy and relief when the doctor told her it was time to push after being stuck at 6.5 cm for what seemed like forever.

After a couple of strong pushes, mama welcomed her third baby, her first girl, into her arms. It was B-E-A-U-T-I-F-U-L.blog3Perfect in every way.

I think I could watch a thousand births and still be in awe every single time.

Welcome to the world baby K. Please see the video below for more images from this beautiful delivery.

Before pregnant mamas rush to the contact section of my blog, please note that I’m still not offering birth photography to clients at this time. I will continue to portfolio build when possible until I have more time to commit to fully offering these special, and time-consuming sessions to everyone.

Rebecca, I am Bill’s Mom. I certainly was excited when the call came that Baby K was here…and even more excited when I went up to see her. But this morning when I saw this on facebook I quickly clicked to view the pics and found myself overwhelmed with tears of joy….you placed me there with them and it was so beautiful! Thank you….
